Jennifer Garner was married to Affleck between 2005 and 2018, and the former “Alias” star is the mother of their three biological children — including recent high school graduate Violet. Recently-resurfaced comments Garner made about Affleck have sparked a wave of speculation as to whether the pair could do the unthinkable once Affleck’s rumored split from Lopez is finalized.

Is Affleck still the love of Garner’s life?

Shortly after Affleck and Garner split in 2015, the actress revealed to Vanity Fair her truest feelings about the “Argo” star, in spite of the couple electing to end their marriage.

“I ran down the beach to him, and I would again,” Garner said of their 2005 marriage. “You can’t have these three babies and so much of what we had. He’s the love of my life. What am I going to do about that?”

Some think Garner still feels that way, nearly a decade later. She has reportedly told Affleck he can move back in with her amid his struggles with current wife Lopez, whom he dated prior to marrying Garner nearly 20 years ago. There are those who further believe that Garner’s continued involvement in Affleck’s life is impacting her relationship with businessman John Miller, whom she has dated since 2018.

It’s a complicated “dance” involving two couples — and it’s anyone’s guess as to how the saga will definitively end, even if Affleck and Lopez seem headed for a divorce after marrying in Las Vegas in July 2022. But one thing seems for sure — what Affleck and Garner have, their three children, is theirs for life.
