Jennifer Garner was friendly to her fans amid news of her ex Ben Affleck’s ongoing marital woes with his current wife Jennifer Lopez.

The 52-year-old actress – who recently opened up about being emotional in the leadup to her eldest child graduating high school – was jovial as she signed autographs for fans in New York City on Tuesday.

She not only made the day of her followers by signing their items of choice but also with her massive smile during a busy day in the Big Apple.

Jennifer sported a white and black horizontal striped T-Shirt tucked into relaxed fit navy trousers and strappy brown leather sandals.

She accessorized with stud earrings, a gold bracelet, black strap watch, and diamond ring as she signed with a blue Sharpie marker.

Her brunette tresses were pulled back in a ponytail as she showcased her natural looks by going make-up free.

It comes amid rumors her ex-husband Ben Affleck has been undergoing marital troubles with his wife Jennifer Lopez.

Garner was married to Affleck from 2005 to 2018 and shares three children with her – Violet, Fin, and Samuel.

Garner spent Father’s Day with Affleck. The Argo actor was seen arriving at the gate of her private community.

The actress was seen out and about in the neighborhood casual cool in a grey V-neck sweater over white T-shirt, blue jeans, and periwinkle colored trainers.

Meanwhile on that same day Affleck’s ex Lopez, 54, wished her ‘hero’ husband a happy Father Day amid divorce rumors.

The Jenny From The Block songstress shared a snap of Ben from his 2001 action film Pearl Harbor to her Instagram Stories as she praised him on the special day.

‘Our hero,’ she wrote along with a white heart emoji. ‘Happy Father’s Day,’ she added.

Meanwhile, Lopez has been enjoying a trip to Italy these last few days while Ben has remained in Los Angeles.

Amid the divorce rumors, Garner, who was married to Affleck from 2005 to 2018 and shares three children with him, has been consoling him.

But insiders have claimed Garner’s partner John Miller has told her it is not her responsibility to help ‘fix’ Affleck’s beleaguered marriage to Lopez.

Sources claim Garner’s rumored fiancé, businessman Miller, 46, is tiring of how involved she is in trying to ‘fix’ Affleck’s relationship with the singer.

‘Of course it bothers John that Jen is so hyper focused on her ex-husband,’ an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

‘He cares deeply for Ben and sympathizes with what he is going through with Jennifer, but that doesn’t mean Jen should be the one to fix her ex-husband’s issues with his current wife. That makes no sense to anyone.

‘Jen is such a caring and wonderful woman and mother and there is nothing but a deep friendship and bond between her and Ben.

‘John wants nothing more than for Ben to be okay, but it isn’t his girlfriend’s responsibility to play babysitter to him.

‘That is for Ben to figure out on his own and for his wife to handle. It isn’t Jen’s responsibility, and he has told her this.’

Miller and Garner have been dating since 2018 and a second source said he’s simply trying to stay out of it because it is none of his business.

‘John stays out of it, he knows it is none of his business, so he keeps away from all of that, because who wants to talk about their ex more than you have to,’ they said. ‘But Jen can’t get away from it because it is everywhere.

‘It doesn’t affect her current relationship or her life in a negative way. She just wants to protect her kids, and by being there for Ben, if and when he needs, allows her to do that.’

They added that Affleck is conscious of being a ‘burden’ and tries to avoid discussing his marital breakdown with his ex-wife, with whom he shares children Violet, 18, Fin (formerly Seraphina), 15, and Samuel, 12.

‘Jen is monitoring it all and she has told Ben time and time again, they can talk about anything, and she will be there for him to vent,’ the source said. ‘But Ben never wants to burden her and will instead just talk to her about the kids and what the kids need.’

Sources previously told DailyMail.com that Garner was trying to help save the couple, affectionately known as ‘Bennifer,’ with Lopez confiding in the actress over joint fears Affleck, a former alcoholic, could relapse.
