A fight at a Denver Broncos preseason game left one fan dazed, but still holding his beer with minimal spillage.
The fight took place at some point during the Broncos’ 38-12 preseason victory over the Arizona Cardinals on the concourse of Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday.
Video of the melee started with one fan wearing a dark blue T-shirt with a Broncos logo on it jawing with another fan in a white tank top as the two appeared to be walking toward an exit.
The fan in the blue shirt, who was also holding a beer, seemed to try and fake out the other fan by making a move to scare him, but instead, the man in the white tank top ended up swinging and striking the person with the beer directly in the jaw.
The punch knocked the man in the blue shirt back, but then a third person jumped into the fray and took a swing at him, knocking him to the ground.
The assailants continued to go after the man on the ground, who seemed to be in a daze before security arrived on the scene.
The man in the blue Broncos shirt got back to his feet, though he was missing a shoe, and still seemed to have a firm grasp of his tallboy without having lost much of his beer from the can.
Users on X seemed to notice that the beer guy managed not to spill his beer throughout the tussle.
“BUT NO MATTER HOW BAD HE GOT PUMMELED HE DIDNT DROP HIS BEER,” one person wrote.
“Now that is a skilled beer drinker! Waste not want not,” another wrote on X.
