Tyreek Hill was detained by the police during a traffic stop outside Hardrock Stadium right before the Dolphins’ Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The body cam footage of the officers involved was recently released, and there has been much debate about how compliant Hill was during the stop.

As more and more information is revealed about the situation, it seems this is a news story many people won’t forget about for a long time. That also includes Hill’s family, the wide receiver claimed while talking to Taylor Rocks before Thursday Night Football.

“I can’t watch it more than once,” Hill said. “My mom, wife, they probably watched it 100 times.“

“And my mom, she always be like, ‘every time I watch this video I get madder,” he continued.

However, Hill has a very different outlook on the situation than his mother’s. “I said, ‘Let’s not get mad. Let’s learn, because the more we get made, I feel like that’s moving us backwards. It’s all about accountability on both sides,” he added.

Of course, it’s a very delicate situation, and you have to imagine his family hates seeing someone they love be scrutinized like Hill is.

Tyreek Hill Had A Slow Game In Week 2

After an amazing Week 1 performance that was crucial to the Dolphin’s win against the Jaguars, it was a complete 180 for Hill in Week 2.

On Thursday Night Football at home against the Buffalo Bills, Miami was shut down, losing 10-31.

A lot of players for the Dolphins struggled, and that’s especially true for Tyreek. He only caught three passes for 24 yards and no touchdowns.

That’s not a stellar stat line for a player making $30 million annually.
