Soooo, if you’re wondering how Jennifer Garner feels about reports that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are heading for divorce? Turns out the 13 Going on 30 star is doing her best to convince her ex to stay in the relationship.
A source spoke to Us Weekly about Jennifer’s take on the Bennifer drama, and said “Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen. She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy.” The source added that Jen Garner knows the spotlight “can put a strain” on relationships.

This update comes amid reports that Ben has been supporting his ex amid the loss of her father, who passed away in March.
A source told Entertainment Tonight at the time that Ben was “actively involved” with Jen and was “checking in on her and making sure she knows he is there for her since her dad’s passing. It was the kids’ grandfather and Ben and him always got along. He considered him family and always will.”
Quick history lesson before we go: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner got married back in 2005 and went on to have three kids. They split up ten years later in June 2015, but have remained super close. ET’s source noted that Jennifer Garner and Jennifer Lopez have “gotten closer” recently as well, so it’s not exactly a surprise that Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage!
