The ‘Elektra’ star visits her ex-husband’s house in Brentwood after J.Lo was seen being comforted by his best friend at a Toronto International Film Festival afterparty.
AceShowbiz – Jennifer Garner continues to look after Ben Affleck amid his divorce from Jennifer Lopez. The 52-year-old actress has checked in on her ex-husband, who is currently navigating his split from J.Lo after two years of marriage.
The “13 Going on 30” star was spotted visiting Affleck’s home in Brentwood, Los Angeles over the weekend. In photos which surfaced online on Monday, September 9, she was seen approaching the entrance of the actor’s residence via her car. She rolled down the window to reach out and enter the gate code.
The mother of three, who shares Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Affleck, wore a gray T-shirt and oversize eyeglasses with a thick black rim. She appeared to go makeup free and had her dark hair tied into a low ponytail.
Garner’s visit to Affleck’s home comes after he skipped the premiere of “Unstoppable” at the Toronto International Film Festival, which was attended by Lopez and Damon. J.Lo stars in the film, which was produced by Affleck and Damon.
At an afterparty following the premiere of the movie, J.Lo appeared to be comforted by Affleck’s best friend and business partner. The two were photographed holding hands and engrossed in a lengthy discussion. They sat with Damon’s wife Luciana at an outdoor table.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck on August 20, coinciding the second anniversary of their wedding celebration, after living apart for months. She listed April 26 as the date of their separation and cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
Affleck and Damon have been close friends for over 40 years, having burst onto the scene with their Academy Award-winning screenplay for “Good Will Hunting” in 1997. The “Bourne” star has publicly expressed support for the “Argo” actor/director during the couple’s separation. Days after Lopez’s divorce filing, Damon was spotted dining with Affleck, Luciana and their daughters.
