Jennifer Garner will be returning to Netflix to star in the upcoming holiday film Mrs. Claus.

The news about 51-year-old performer – whose father recently passed away –  was revealed on Thursday.

Deadline also announced that the film will be produced by Lauren Neustadter and Reese Witherspoon.

Jennifer and Reese last worked together on the thriller The Last Thing He Told Me.

Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, although Leah McKendrick has signed on to pen the movie’s script.

Garner has worked on several of the Netflix’s projects in the past, including Yes Day and Family Leave.

The show is based on Laura Dave’s novel of the same name, which was originally published in 2021.

The program is centered on a woman who develops a close relationship with her stepdaughter while searching for her missing husband.

In addition to Garner, The Last Thing He Told Me starred Angourie Rice, Aisha Tyler and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The first season of the program, which lasted for a total of seven episodes, made its debut on the Apple TV+ streaming service last April.

The Last Thing He Told Me received mixed to negative reviews from critics, and the show currently holds a rating of 42% on Rotten Tomatoes.

However, it was announced that The Last Thing He Told Me had been renewed for a second season last month, and Deadline reported that Garner, Coster-Waldau and Rice had signed on to reprise their roles.
