The mother of the Batman star’s children has been spending more time with her ex-man after his marriage to Lopez appears to be crashing and burning just two years after they tied the knot, but it seems as though it’s finally impacting her own relationship too.

“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” an insider told PageSix.com. “He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”

So, Garner, who acted in 13 Going on 30, wore a Super Woman top after trying to help Affleck save his current marriage by visiting him in California as they coparent their three children together.

“She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy,” a source told Us Weekly, as she visited his home to celebrate their son’s graduation from middle school too.

Lopez, who is the stepmom to the kids, was also there too although she didn’t accompany them to the venue.

Lopez and Affleck’s troubles

Affleck and Lopez are thought to be living apart as they head towards divorce following their different approaches to life with the singer appearing to enjoy the limelight of fame whilst being confident and hard-working, whilst Affleck is said to be miserable, grumpy and introverted.

It seems as though they’ve run into the same problem that plagued them during their first stint together between 2002-2004 when they were much younger, as they have different approaches to the fame and the media. Although Affleck has spoken about trying to compromise.

“When Jen and I broke up before,” Affleck said in The Greatest Love Story Ever Told, reflecting on their first attempt at love. “The catalyst for that was the amount of scrutiny around our private life.”
