Jennifer Garner’s L.A. Home Includes a Unique Room Just for Her Kids & Their Friends

Jennifer Garner is the sweetest mama of three, and how she designed her dream home shows she had her kid (and even their friends) in mind with every decision she made. In fact, she even had a room that every kid probably dreamed about having: a literal slumber party room!

On Sept. 3, Garner showed off her expansive yet cozy L.A mansion in a video interview with Architectural Digest. (You can watch the whole video HERE!)

Throughout the video, she shows off her large living room to the details of her bedroom. But the room that caught everyone’s eye was a literal sleepover room she designed for her kids!

She showed off the “slumber party room,” which is filled with built-in bunk beds, a lounging area, and more.

She made this room to make it a place “where kids can cozy up all in one [room] together.”

“This is like a dream come true for me, because I love to have kids over for a slumber party, but I’m also a stickler for sleep,” she said. “I love having a spot that is just where kids can be kids.”

Along with that, she showed that she kept all of her kids’ favorite toys from when they were small, but the big kids actually still get a kick out of it.

In the video interview, she said that she did this so any young kids who come over can “feel welcome and excited… And every now and then, the big kids will still pull out the old toys and play.”

For those who don’t know, Garner and Ben Affleck met on the set of the 2004 movie Daredevil. Within a year, they got engaged, and by June 2005, they were married. They welcomed three children together named Violet, born Dec 2005, Seraphina, born Jan 2009, and Samuel, born in Feb 2012. They divorced by Oct 2018.

In a rare interview with TODAY’s Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager in late 2023, Garner talked about her parenting philosophies.

“I don’t know that I have some overarching philosophy,” she said. “I just think they’re such cool people and I want to hear everything, and I want to be around. But I also think it’s OK if they suffer from a little bit of benign neglect. Their lives are their own. I’m not trying to live their life, and I don’t mind that they see that I love mine.”
