Lopez’s fiancé Ben Affleck was not by her side during the outing, but the couple have been nearly inseparable since rekindling their romance in April 2021 nearly two decades after ending their first engagement.

Two months ago, she shared her happy engagement news via her newsletter, revealing that she had been in the bath tub when Ben popped the question.

‘I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again,’ she said.

‘I was quite literally speechless and he said: ‘Is that a yes?’ I said YES of course that’s a YES.’

The couple had previously been engaged from 2002 to 2004, before breaking things off.

The report came just after another source told Us Weekly that ‘Jennifer will tell you she’s not in a rush to get married, but her friends think otherwise.’

‘The truth is that if Ben wanted to push this forward as early as this summer, she’d be totally down with that,’ they added.

‘[She] wants the formalities out of the way so they can start their journey as man and wife sooner rather than later,’ the insider concluded.
