‘The block’ savagely turns on J.Lo after viral ‘This is Me … Now’ clip

Jennifer Lopez is getting savagely trolled for a clip from her film “This Is Me … Now: A Love Story” — and it’s going viral.

In the film, which serves as a multimedia companion for her album of the same name, Lopez reminisces about her youth as she lets her hair down in the gym.

“I like taking my hair out like this,” Lopez, 54, states as she ruffles her waves in the 13-second clip. “It reminds me like, when I was 16 in The Bronx running up and down the block.”

“Crazy little girl who used to be f–kin wild,” the “On the Floor” singer muses while staring at herself.

“No limits,” the songstress adds. “All dreams and s–t.”

The initial clip, which was posted by Prime Video earlier this month and garnered 10.2 million views, received a ton of snide remarks.

In the film, which serves as a multimedia companion for her album of the same name, the Billboard Music Award winner can be seen taking her down while in the gym and reminiscing over how it reminds her of her youth.

“I had no clue Jenny was from the Block,” one user joked.

“I think she would like the song ‘Jenny from the Block,’” a second person jeered, referring to her 2002 hit.

“It’s giving me acting out scenarios when I’m home alone,” sneered a third person.

However, since being posted online several Bronx residents have stated that they are fed up with JLO's constant remarks about her old stomping grounds.

Several Bronx-based users took issue with the singer’s comment too — and not all of them were positive.

“Real Bronxite here, straight from South Bronx,” one user claimed in a response video. “JLO, we did not run up and down the block looking like that. Even as a kid.”

“And what block were you running up and down on,” the user continued. “Do you have any footage of this? Do you have any pictures of you in the Bronx? Pictures of you being a normal child in the Bronx?”

In a second response video, which was posted to X (formerly Twitter), one user takes the sparring gloves off completely and slams the singer for lying.

She concluded: “This whole story of her trying to be more relatable and more normal is not really gonna work for you.”

In a second video, another user referred to the singer as a “chaos demon.”

“JLO is a delusional chaos demon,” the user stated, adding that he didn’t even believe that she was “from New York anymore.”

“What block are you from JLO?” he questioned. “Leave us alone, please.”

A third user wrote: “The scream I just f—king scrumpt,” claiming she attended the same all-girls Catholic high school as the musician.

“Let me show you guys ‘ the block,’” she went on, showing a picture of Lopez from a yearbook.

“And then this is what the girls on the block looked like,” she said. “I’m sure JLO’s friends looked very similar.”

“No hate to JLO at all,” she concluded. “I know she went to school here it’s just really funny to see her rep the block and knowing she went to high school in Throgs Neck … I think it’s hilarious.”

As The Post reported, the “Let’s Get Loud” songstress recently canceled several tour dates without explanation.

The upcoming “This is Me … Now” tour is Lopez’s first tour in five years. She canceled dates from Aug. 22 to 30.

According to Ticketmaster, the singer will not perform in Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans, Louisiana; Raleigh, North Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Houston, Texas; Cleveland, Ohio; and Tampa, Florida.

Lopez’s film and subsequent album is a sequel to her 2002 hit “This Is Me … Then” and details the rekindling of her romance with now-husband Ben Affleck.

The self-funded film, which is available to stream on Amazon Prime, was written by Affleck, 51, as well as Dave Meyers and Chris Shafer.
