Tom Brady performs iconic Cristiano Ronaldo celebration and drives racing car during ‘busy weekend’ before Fox debut

TOM Brady may have retired from the NFL, but everything he does is still big news.

And Brady had quite the weekend in France as he prepares for a busy season working as the lead NFL analyst for Fox.

With soccer fever now taking hold, with the European Championship taking place in Germany and the Copa America kicking off, Brady copied the style of one icon.

Brady scored a goal during an impromptu game of soccer while he was in Europe.

And he celebrated in the same way we’ve become accustomed to Cristiano Ronaldo doing over the years.

Ronaldo, formerly a Manchester United and Real Madrid player, is currently playing for Portugal in his sixth European Championship.

Brady also went to Le Mans, where the legendary 24 hours race was taking place.

He met up with members of the Hertz JOTA team and even got to drive a car for a couple of laps.

There was a chance for more sedate Paris moments for Brady too, including a visit to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa.

On X, the site formerly known as Twitter, Brady posted the message, “Busy weekend.”

And on Instagram, he posted, “Paris and Le Mans last weekend with the @hertz family.”

It’s been a typically busy time for Brady lately, which has also included a brief broadcasting debut.

He had a short cameo during the UFL Championship game.

Later, he was booed by fans while presented the MVP trophy to Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez in St. Louis.

Brady is preparing intensely for his new role as lead analyst with Fox, which he’ll start in September.

“Certainly, with the broadcaster, I don’t think, for me, it’s about competition,” Brady said recently.

“I think it’s for me, it’s about ‘Did I put everything I could into it? Did I give the fans everything that they tuned in for?

“And that’s really how I’ll end up gauging myself.”

Brady’s debut will come on the first Sunday of the 2024 season.

There will be huge attention on him as he analyses the game between the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns on September 8.

Brady’s career in the NFL was the stuff of folklore.

The iconic quarterback helped the New England Patriots to six Super Bowl triumphs, and then won his seventh with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
