Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown has taken several shots at Tom Brady since he played his last game in the NFL. Nobody quite knew what turned him against the same guy who made it possible for him to play on the Tampa Bay Bucs and win a Super Bowl. Brady even reportedly had Brown in his home when he first moved to the area.

We are now finding out why Brown is not a fan of Brady anymore.

Brown stated on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast why he and Brady had their falling-out.

“My agent, Ed Wasielewski, is getting called, cursed out by Tom Brady over why is he pushing back for the contract for scraps,” Brown said on the podcast. “Imagine if you heard that, the same guy that brought you in and won a ring, the same agent he told you to hook up with to get the deal, is not telling me, the guy’s calling him, saying, yo, cursing him out about scraps of a contract.”
“My agent’s telling me already before the season this guy — who he hooked me up with — is calling him cussing him out about the contract,” Brown said.

Brown also detailed the incident that occurred that caused him to leave MetLife Stadium mid-game, saying he had a torn ligament but then-coach Bruce Arians ignored his concerns.

“Coach wouldn’t listen to me,” Brown said. “Leading up to the game I was saying to coach ‘yo I’m hurt’ and he let us rest till the playoffs … I had a torn ligament in my deltoid. They knew that.”

Brown has had a tumultuous career, with numerous controversies and legal issues, but he remains one of the most talented receivers that has ever stepped foot on a football field.

After being released by the Oakland Raiders and the New England Patriots in 2019 due to off-field issues, Brown signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in October 2020. Brown’s addition to the Buccaneers’ already star-studded offense, which included quarterback Tom Brady, tight end Rob Gronkowski, and fellow receiver Mike Evans, was seen as a major coup for the team.

In his first season with the Buccaneers, Brown played a key role in the team’s Super Bowl victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, catching five passes for 22 yards and a touchdown in the game.

However, his final year with the team would come after he stormed off the field while the team played the New York Jets. The two played just 16 games together, with Brady completing 91 of 132 targets for 1,084 yards and nine touchdowns to the veteran wideout.

Off the field, Brown has had a number of legal issues, including accusations of sexual assault and battery. Brown has denied these allegations and has not been convicted of any crimes related to them, but the controversies have cast a shadow over his career and his reputation.

His speed, agility, and ability to catch difficult passes made him a dangerous weapon, but his issues became way too much and he was basically forced into an early retirement.
