No one had expected how things turned out for the Dallas Cowboys in last season’s playoffs. They entered the postseason carrying the NFC East title and with all the tools needed for a victory. Yet, they were eliminated in the very first game of the playoffs.
After such a disappointing season, when the Cowboys should have been working on rectifying the mistakes of the previous year, they are sitting uncomfortably silent on the offseason moves. Calling out the idleness of the Cowboys, especially owner Jerry Jones, Robert Griffin III joined the queue of analysts criticizing Dallas.
During the latest episode of Get Up, RG3 asserted that the Cowboys had “the worst offseason in the NFL.” And he sure didn’t hold back, given they had the opportunity to ink prominent names in the free agency, players who were scooped in hastily by the other contenders.
The Dallas Cowboys have had the worst offseason in the NFL. If the goal coming into the offseason for the Cowboys was to fix their culture and focus on winning and make it all about ball, then they’re failing absolutely miserably.Robert Griffin III said

Robert Griffin III characterized the Cowboys as a ‘toxic partner’
RG3 called out the Cowboys for behaving like a “toxic partner” in a relationship, and for treating their three biggest players– Dak Prescott, CeeDee Lamb, and Micah Parsons, so poorly. Many believed that the Cowboys didn’t have a bad season, but just a bad game that got them eliminated.
If that’s so, the team did come through. While all three players deserve to be the cornerstones of the team, Jones is referring back from paying them. Griffin also highlighted how the franchise has picked up the fifth-year option of Prescott’s contract as they are yet to offer him a contract extension.

The same is happening with Lamb, who is even rumored to be holding out until the Cowboys offer him an extension. Supporting Lamb, Griffin raises questions with Jones for delaying to pay the star wide receiver. He ended his argument by claiming, that it appears the Cowboys are focusing more on other things, than winning.
