Lamar Jackson joined in on the fun of trolling his Baltimore Ravens teammate Zay Flowers. The second-year wide receiver is a favorite of Hollywood A-lister Zendaya.

Jackson shared a tweet from a fan account that documented a comment made by the Spider-Man: No Way Home actor. It read that Zendaya was a fan of the Flowers and admired his style of football.

He [Zay Flowers] just has a certain swagger to him and in the way he plays. He’s so fun to watch, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else winning OPOY [Offensive Palyer of the Year] at this moment.

Jackson understood the assignment. He forwarded the tweet asking the 23-year-old to send the Hollywood star some flowers.

If Tom Holland wasn’t in the frame, Zendaya Land Flowers would be a thing. The British actor, who has starred in several Marvel projects and is currently the face of the Spiderman franchise, is together with his co-star.

The pair have been rumored to be a couple ever since their shooting days on the sets of Spider-Man Homecoming. Jackson was aware of this news, and that’s perhaps the reason he chose to prank Flowers.

So when an eager commenter tried to point it out, Zendaya praised Flowers, and Lamar Jackson had an instant reply.

Flowers, on the other hand, has not said anything about the tweet. He was busy training with Seattle Seahawks quarterback Geno Smith and the controversial figure of Antonio Brown. The All-Pro playmaker, who last played in the league back in 2021, has expressed his desire to join a franchise for the 2024 season.

Smith and Brown have practiced together for the past decade, but Flowers’ inclusion did surprise many. However, he won’t be leaving Baltimore anytime soon. Jackson needs his services. In the 2023 regular season, Flowers racked up 77 receptions for 858 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Although the Ravens lost the AFC championship game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Zay Flowers turned a few heads. With just 5 receptions, he racked up 115 yards and scored the Ravens’ only touchdown of the game.
