Chris Simms is passionate about the game of football, the former quarterback has a love for the game that very few analysts possess.

However, at times, his passion may get in the way of the message he is trying to put across. Recently, Simms was commenting about the potential that Brock Bowers has; let’s just say he praised the tight end with the most absurd choice of words.

The 13th pick of the Las Vegas Raiders is dubbed to be the best tight end in this draft class. Brock Bowers is an absolute unit, many scouts view him to be the next in line of legendary tight ends and some have gone as far as to compare him to Rob Gronkowski. Chris Simms believes Bowers is a man with immense potential but had an odd choice of words to describe his build.

First thing I was all over, the body I love, I mean, it is rare to see a white guy tight end with that kind of legs and a**.

Chris Simms said

As unbelievable as it is, yes, those were the exact words that Simms used to describe Brock Bowers, probably should have stopped after talking about his legs.

Brock Bowers heads into Las Vegas with a high set of expectations

The 13th overall pick by the Raiders just gets fans excited to watch him play. Simms is not to blame, fans have not seen a tight end who can move, block, and catch like Brock Bowers in a while.

He will fit in well with the new-look Raiders led by Antonio Pierce. A tight end of his caliber needs to be utilized well, and once he gets comfortable, he will quickly be a problem on the field.

His primary strengths are his build and blocking. Notably, he is one of the strongest prospects in this class, and the Raiders can rely on him to block as well as catch passes.

In his best-case scenario, he can be a combination of George Kittle and Travis Kelce. Despite being one of the more questionable picks of the draft, considering the Raiders need a QB more than a tight end, fans have high expectations from him.

The Raiders have Aidan O’ Connell and Gardner Minshew at the QB position, and despite his rather tragic rookie season, HC Pierce believes the team can get it done with him at the helm. The upcoming season will be interesting to see as the Raiders head into it with a lot of excitement in the locker room and amongst the fanbase.
