The commotion started when Steve, 67, asked for another phrase that meant undressed.

Contestant Arvell blurted out the word, naked, but spelled it out “nekkid.”

The game show host cringed at the answer and rolled his eyes.

“You think because you’re pronouncing the word naked as nekkid, that it means it’s different? Steve said.

“You think you can’t possibly be trying to pull that off on national TV?”

“Two of these people are teachers in the family!” he ranted.

“You going to sit up here on national TV and say, ‘nekkid!’ And then point at the damn board!”

The host slapped the cue cards next to the contestant.

“Like we’re going to let you get away with his!”

“I bet you said ‘Nekkid’ in one of your comedy routines!” Arvell defended himself, referring to the Original Kings of Comedy star’s raunchy standup act.

In the comments section, viewers continued to mock the player’s “ridiculously dumb answer.”

This is not the only time the funnyman had a wild response on camera.

In mid-April, the 67-year-old star rocked a pink suit as the two players competed to hit the buzzer first.

“Name something in your home that isn’t working?” Steve read the prompt aloud.

Ricky rang the buzzer immediately.

“My wife,” Ricky mentioned, instead of an appliance or a home purchase.

The audience gasped while the rival player turned away.

Steve toppled over his podium in a laughing fit.

The TV personality then gave Ricky a high-five for his off-the-wall response.
