The actress, mom of three and co-founder of Once Upon a Farm organics says her company’s products help save her time before the school rush — and during her kids’ crammed lunchbreaks

Jennifer Garner is one of the most recognizable actresses on the planet, but on weekday mornings, she’s like any other mom, scrambling to get lunchboxes together and the kids out the door in time for school.

“I pack lunch for my eldest [daughter Violet, 17] every single day,” says Garner, who’s the co-founder and brand ambassador of Once Upon a Farm organics, which recently launched refrigerated bars with a fun event in Brooklyn.

“She’s a senior in high school, and I give her at least two Once Upon a Farm pouches in her lunchbox,” Garner, 51, continues. “They have no sugar added, and it’s even energy and she can eat them quickly in between classes or whatever it is they’re doing. Her friends eat them too!”

Garner, who shares her kids with ex Ben Affleck, notes that her middle child [Seraphina, 14] tends to eat school lunches, and her son Samuel, 11, mixes it up — some days he gets packed lunch, some days he chooses school lunch. Still, she always throws in a pouch or a bar for after school or between classes.

She adds, “They don’t have that much time to eat! And lunchtime is also their recess or break time, so they really eat the bare minimum so they can go out to play, so they usually reach for whatever they like. You just want them to grab something they like and that’s good for them and has some nutrition.”

She adds that like all kids, they’re not going to eat it if they don’t like it. She says, “What was so important to me about having Once Upon a Farm make bars was that parents could trust that it will have all great ingredients — and it’s going to taste good!”
