Celebrities are just like us: They love to post pet pictures online. Most celebs, though, are all about posting dog and cat photos. Jennifer Garner, on the other hand, is a little different: She recently posed with her pet chicken on Instagram and in the photo, she walking her two-legged friend on a leash.

Garner thinks we need to have an official “Chicken Lady Day” and we couldn’t agree more.

As if Garner posing with her chicken on a leash wasn’t good enough, the caption revealed that the chicken is named Regina George, aka Rachel McAdams’ character in “Mean Girls.” The actress revealed that Regina George the chicken loves “long walks, dehydrated bugs, and kale.” She also hates “carbs.”  It just doesn’t get better than that!

Fans online just couldn’t get over this adorable photo:

Others found walking a chicken to be a little wacky. But honestly, considering some folks put their chickens in sweaters, there are definitely stranger things than this:

But apparently, Garner’s not alone in her major “chicken lady” status:

Jennifer Garner has posed with chickens in the past as well, in particular while caring a tote bag that reads “Chickens, Y’all”:

One look at her Instagram will prove she’s an animal lover. She’s posted about cats, dogs and even bees along with Miss Regina George The Chicken.

In this photo, you can see Garner as a bee charmer:

She’s also decked out in full cat gear in this Instagram post:

Not only does she walk chickens, she also reads to dogs:

We’ve definitely got a fellow animal fanatic on our hands!

So, will celebs walking chickens become the next big Hollywood trend? Garner’s definitely kicked it off, so all that’s left to do now is to see if others follow suit!
