Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a game-sealing interception against the Detroit Lions on Sunday at Ford Field in the NFC Divisional Round. That was his second pick of the day.

Detroit Lions safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson picked him off in the first quarter after starting a feud last week when he said the Buccaneers would actually be a good time if they had a better quarterback and even named a few of their star players.

After the game, Gardner-Johnson took to his Instagram Live to speak on Mayfield and blasted him.

“And I tossed that b**ch back at you, too. I hope you got it, too. Make sure you send that with the jersey.”

Gardner-Johnson is referring to his interception that he returned for 12 yards and flipped the ball to Mayfield after finishing his return.

The Lions beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-23 and are heading to the NFC championship game for the second time in franchise history.

It was the 1991 season when it last happened as Barry Sanders was in just his third season. It’s a good time to be a Detroit Lions fan in 2023 and 2024.
