Taylor Swift’s lead guitarist has welcomed a baby boy into the world, shortly after the singer’s Asia leg of her Eras Tour ended.

Paul Sidoti announced his brand new baby boy was born on March 12 on Instagram. The post showed the newborn swaddled in a blanket in the hospital, sleeping soundly in a bassinet.

Paul captioned the post: “This morning, we welcomed our little miracle Sammy Sidoti into the world. Our prayers were answered and mommy and baby are doing great. Big sister Scarlett is over the moon having a baby brother. All my love to @ashsidoti.” He included a prayer emoji and a red heart emoji.

Paul has been Taylor’s guitarist and background vocalist since December 2007. With so many years of trusted work, fans of the Love Story singer praised her for “planning” her tour around the baby’s due date.

“I love that she planned the tour around the due date preemptively,” one fan wrote. Another added: “[The baby] waited until the Eras tour took a 2 month break!!!!”

A third wrote: “Oh my gosh, Paul – I’m so happy for you!! Good thing your new buddy waited til you got home from Asia! Congrats all around… way to go, Mrs. Sidoti/Mama Queen!”

The last show Taylor performed was on March 9 in Singapore – the last of six shows in the country. Taylor’s tour doesn’t pick back up until May 9 when Taylor starts her four day stint in Nanterre, France.

This gives Paul two months with his family, unless he decides to take more time off and not follow Taylor to France. He’s not the only one enjoying the downtime, as sources say Taylor is enjoying spending her well deserved break with her beau Travis Kelce.

Celebrity psychic Inbaal Honnigman told The Mirror that the couple are “loving their relationship” and “together they couldn’t be happier.” Another source told US Weekly: “They can finally rest and intend on spending quality time together and with friends and family.”
