Following the unfortunate incident, she has been receiving massive support from her fans and other celebrities who stand by her in this tough time. Prominent actors like Ryan Reynolds, Reese Witherspoon, and Melanie Lynskey expressed their condolences.

Jennifer Garner‘s late father, William John Garner was a chemical engineer for Union Carbide. In her latest Instagram post, Garner shared that her father passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon. She added that her entire family was “with him, singing Amazing Grace as he left us”. 

Ben Affleck’s former wife added further in her post that although “there is no tragedy in the death of an 85 year old man who lived a healthy, wonderful life”, it is impossible to live without the grief. Jennifer Garner won everyone’s hearts as she went on to express her gratitude for everything her father did for their family- “Today is for gratitude”.

Accompanied by a series of photographs of her late father, Jennifer Garner wrote that she feels grateful for her father’s “gentle demeanor and quiet strength”. She also thanked him for teaching her work ethic, leadership, and faith. She also did not forget to thank the medical workers at Charleston Area Medical Center and City of Hope who played a crucial role in his final days.

The Juno actress concluded her post by admitting that she and her sisters can never speak less of their father. Besides the photos, she also shared a clip from a Capital One credit card in which she starred with her father. Numerous fans and celebrities united in the comments section to support Jennifer Garner and her family.

There are rumors that Jennifer Garner will reprise his role of Elektra in Ryan Reynolds’ upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine. While Reynolds left a like on Garner’s post, other high-profile names like Kelly Ripa and Reese Witherspoon shared their support for the Peppermint actress.
