Taylor Swift arrived in Sydney on Monday, a day before her shows this weekend in the port city. The 34-year-old pop star is now known to be living at Crown’s presidential villa in Sydney’s Barangaroo.
The singer of “Cruel Summer” stayed at the five-star Crown Towers hotel in Melbourne in the presidential house. The presidential apartment at Crown Sydney is on the 88th floor of Crown Towers Sydney and usually costs $25,000 per night.
The 800sqm home is spread out over two floors and has stunning views of Sydney Harbour. On the first floor, there is a large living room, kitchen, bar, pool table, and video room for hosting guests. There is a dining room that can fit up to 10 people, an office that is fully stocked, and places for the maid to live. On the second floor, there is a beautiful master bedroom with a large bathroom that includes a marble spa bath and a hot shower.
Fans braved the bad weather to meet Swift when her plane touched down, hoping to catch a glimpse of the star as she got off. Australians have seen Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, and Pink! out and about in public in the past few weeks, but Swift has been able to stay out of the press while she’s been Down Under. Fans probably won’t see Swift out and about while she is in the harbour city, though.
She has “dead days” in between her tour runs. She told Time magazine last year, “I only get out of bed to get food, which I then bring back to my bed and eat there.” “It’s like a dream.” I’ve been singing for three shows in a row, so I can barely talk. Because I’m dancing in shoes, every step I take makes my feet crunch. I’ve never felt so happy before, but this is it.
