Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers will not face any disciplinary action from the NFL after his alleged assault probe, with the league finding ‘insufficient evidence’ against him.
Flowers was under investigation in February after police in Maryland were contacted by authorities in Massachusetts over an alleged assault.
According to a report from Baltimore NBC affiliate WBAL, the woman who reported the alleged assault said she was bruised by an NFL player.
The woman did not expressly state which NFL player was involved, but did say his brother pulled out a gun during the incident.
The alleged assault took place in January in Baltimore suburb Owings Mills.

The NFL found ‘insufficient evidence’ in supporting that Flowers violated any NFL policy
Flowers was never charged during the investigation, with the probe suspended by the Baltimore Police Department on February 20.
‘Following a review, the NFL concluded there was insufficient evidence to support a finding that Zay Flowers engaged in any activity that violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy,’ an NFL statement read.

‘There will be no action taken by the league and Flowers remains eligible to participate in all team activities,’ the league’s statement continued.
Flowers impressed as a rookie with the Ravens with 77 catches for 858 yards and five touchdowns.
The lasting gridiron memory from the 23-year-old Flowers may be his fourth-quarter fumble in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs, allowing Travis Kelce and co. to advance to the Super Bowl.
