‘Stop Acting Entitled’: Jennifer Lopez Blamed for 2-Week Tour Cancelation Amid Weak Sales After ‘Charging $1,500 for a Ticket’

Any party freaks who purchased tickets to Jennifer Lopez’s concerts at the end of August will no longer be able to get on the floor.

The 54-year-old recently canceled seven dates of the This Is Me… Now the Tour, leaving many to wonder if it had anything to do with Lopez’s noticeably low ticket sales.

All shows from August 20-31 — which were set to take place in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston —were officially canceled through Ticketmaster on Wednesday, March 13, a news publication reported.

The “Let’s Get Loud” signer is still set to put on a dazzling 30 shows, however, ticket sales sites proved a large majority of seats remain unsold.

“Unfortunately, the Event Organizer has had to cancel your event. No action is required to obtain a refund,” a memo sent to ticket holders read, per the publication.

While the first outlet hinted the cancelation possibly had to do with a lack in ticket sales, another news publication reported the decision came down to a logistical issue — fueling fans’ theories Lopez cut the tour short due to the actress reportedly landing a role in the new Jurassic World movie, in turn leading to a scheduling conflict.

The 45-year-old singer opted for a Couture creation which left little to the imagination,pairing it up with a Helen Yarmak fur.

On the night, the mum-of-two was sat next to Meryl Streep and couldn’t resist sharing a selfie of the pair of them from the seats in Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

And moments later, she also managed to get one with Jennifer Aniston and her hubby to be Justin Theroux.

Meanwhile, other stars who stood out on the red carpet included Julianne Moore who wore a strapless sparkly custom Chanel gown, while Sienna Miller opted for a Oscar de la Renta creation complete with bow detail.

Jennifer Lopez Vanity Fair After Party

Singer and actress Lady Gaga claimed that she was the target of violence after she received negative reactions online to photos with gender activist Dylan Mulvaney. 

The singer, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, was featured in a series of images and a video on the pseudo-holiday International Women’s Day alongside Mulvaney, a man.

Mulvaney is of course infamous for his role in the Bud Light marketing fiasco that featured the activist in a bathtub with cans of the beer, which cost the brand billions of dollars in market share.

Of course, not only did the singer not see an issue with celebrating a man on a day meant for women, but she labeled any contentiousness from audiences as “hatred” and “violence.”
