Filmmaker Ben dated a variety of A-List women such as Jennifer Lopez, Ana De Armas, and Gwyneth Paltrow, which is why fans are curious to know more.

They’ve both had their fair share of A list romances in the past, but Gwyneth Paltrow was Ben’s first celeb romance.

The pair met at a dinner party thrown by Harvey Weinstein in 1997, when Paltrow had just split from Brad Pitt.

The famous couple starred together in Shakespeare In Love in 1998 and rom-com Bounce in 2000.

Ben and Gwyn’s romance was long-lasting – they dated for three years before splitting.

Speaking about their break up in 2003, Paltrow said: “I just think we have a very different sort of value system,”

Gwyn added about her ex: “He’s got a lot of complications, and you know, he really is a great guy. So I hope he sorts himself out.”

JLo and Ben, nicknamed “Bennifer”, quickly became a prominent supercouple when they started dating in 2002.

Lopez became engaged to the actor and filmmaker in November 2002.

The pair were due to get married in September 2003 – Ben proposed with a 6.1-carat rare pink diamond.

They postponed the wedding indefinitely just a day before the ceremony, citing “excessive media attention.”

Following this, the pair joint-starred in comedy-drama Jersey Girl together, but split before the film was actually released in 2004.

Rumours that the pair have reunited began when the pair were spotted on a secret getaway to Montana in May 2021.

JLo’s mom, Guadalupe, reportedly gave the rekindled relationship her stamp of approval, as she was “very close,” with the Oscar winner years before.

On July 16, 2022, JLo and Ben finally tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony.

Over a month later, the pair said ‘I do’ for the second time in a stunning A-list ceremony at their $8.9million Georgia estate.

At the time, the pair were in relationships with other people.

The two reunited on screen in superhero movie Daredevil in 2002 – while Ben had embarked on a new relationship with JLo, and Jen was married to Scott Foley.

But it seems the pair kept in touch, because nine months after his high-profile break up with JLo, Affleck and Garner were spotted out and about together.

After a year of dating, Affleck proposed during Jen’s 33rd birthday party – with yet another pricy diamond. This time, it was a 4.5 carat Harry Winston ring.

They married in 2005 in a private ceremony in Turks and Caicos.

They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Violet, in December 2005.

Their second daughter Seraphina was born in 2009 and their son Samuel was born in 2012.

But sadly in 2015, the pair released a joint statement announcing that they were ending their decade-long marriage.

Ben later told The New York Times that his alcoholism contributed to the split.

He said: “I drank relatively normally for a long time. What happened was that I started drinking more and more when my marriage was falling apart.

“This was 2015, 2016. My drinking, of course, created more marital problems.”

After his split from Jennifer, Ben was spotted with Saturday Night Live writer Lindsay Shookus.

They were first photographed together in July 2017, in London.

They remained relatively private about their relationship, but seemed to have split briefly, during which time Ben had a fling with model Shauna Sexton.

Although the pair reconciled after this, they ended things for good in 2019.

At the time, a source told People: “She has a kid and an ex-husband and a job in New York and Ben has his family and a job in L.A. and while they love and respect each other they just realized it wasn’t going to work. They really gave it another solid try.”

However, Shookus and former baseball star Alex Rodriguez were caught on video getting cozy in the Hamptons on June 19, 2021, according to a clip obtained by PageSix.

The TV producer was celebrating her birthday and was spotted sitting next to the athlete as Josh Beckerman performed a “Foodie Magician” routine for her party guests.

ARod and Shookus’ friendship comes as a surprise to many as ARod’s ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez has rekindled her relationship with Ben.

ARod and JLo broke off their engagement in March of 2020 after four years together due to cheating allegations made against the baseball player.

Yet, a representative for ARod denied any romantic involvement between him and Shookus, saying: “There is absolutely zero there. They’ve been friends for 15 years.”

They were linked to each other early in 2020 when they were spotted visiting her native Cuba.

A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple “instantly had a connection”.

The source added that de Armas has supported Affleck’s battle against addiction.

Following rumors that the couple were drifting apart, a source told People on January 18, 2021, that they had gone their separate ways after being together for almost a year.

The source revealed: “Ben is no longer dating Ana.

“She broke it off. Their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn’t want to be Los Angeles based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles.”

Are Ben and JLo back together?

Throughout the Summer of 2021, the rumors of a rekindled Bennifer reunion continued to swirl.

The two were seen together on many occasions, including JLo’s bestie Leah Remini’s 51st birthday party on June 15, 2021.

On April 8, 2022, a rep for the singer confirmed to People that Ben and Jennifer were engaged again.

After teasing the news on Friday, April 8, The Marry Me actress also revealed the news to her fans through her On the JLo newsletter.

Jennifer also told People of the rekindling months earlier in February: “We’re older now, we’re smarter, we have more experience, we’re at different places in our lives, we have kids now, and we have to be very conscious of those things.”

“It’s a beautiful outcome that this has happened in this way at this time in our lives where we can really appreciate and celebrate each other and respect each other.”

“We always did, but we have even more of an appreciation because we know that life can take you in different directions.”
