Greg Olsen is not going down without a fight. The Fox lead NFL analyst had a lot to say about the fight for his number 1 spot with recently retired quarterback Tom Brady preparing to join the network in 2024.

Brady signed a reported 10-year, $375 million deal in 2022 that will kick in once he begins his broadcasting career after he retired from the NFL.

During a recent event in Charlotte, Olsen was asked about his future and made it clear that he has no plans of handing over his booth duties without a fight.
“I have to compete against quarterbacks and Hall of Famers, all, the guys that are coming for the job that I have. Tom Brady, I’m sure you read those news articles last week,” Olsen said. “But my answer every time was, I have all the respect in the world for Tom Brady. Who doesn’t, right? He’s the greatest, I get it, I understand why they went after him. But I’m not going to roll over and die.

“I’m willing to do what these guys aren’t willing to do. Until they kick me out, I’m gonna sit there and do it. Maybe he [Brady] does come and take my job one day; I can live with that; I get it. I understand the rules that we all sign up for.”
