Ryan thinks the Washington Commanders could be a possible landing spot for Tom Brady.

During Sunday NFL Countdown, the former Jets and Bills head coach made the case that the Washington Commanders could get Brady and recruit former Saints head coach Sean Payton as well.

He added that the team could part ways with head coach Ron Rivera and bring in Payton to replace him, which would entice Brady to sign with them.

“I’m telling you, watch the Washington Commanders in this. Here’s why… there’s a strong possibility that there’s going to be a change in ownership. And when that happens, these owners aren’t tied to this head coach. I could see Sean Payton and Tom Brady…” Ryan said.

The Commanders have some playmakers on offense and defense, but they lack a QB as Carson Wentz proved he is not the man going forward.

The Miami Dolphins long have been connected to the superstar quarterback, with the franchise reportedly considering pursuing Brady in two of the last three offseasons. That pursuit seems to be over after Tua Tagovialoa poured in an impressive season in 2022.

The Las Vegas Raiders reportedly are interested in the 45-year-old, with the New York Jets lurking in the background. There even is some speculation about a possible Patriots reunion for Brady after the team signed Bill O’Brien as the offensive coordinator.
