The contract of Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady expires after this season, and then the 45-year-old will be free to find a new home if he so desires.

Brady has yet to announce if he’ll retire (for good this time) or return for a 24th season. Given the disappointing 2022 season in Tampa Bay, it’s safe to assume that if he decides to keep playing, Brady will seek a new home.

The Miami Dolphins are among the teams that have been linked to Brady. After all, an NFL investigation found that the Dolphins tampered by speaking to Brady while he was under contract with the New England Patriots back in 2019.

According to Page Six, Brady was recently seen touring a private school in Miami. Naturally, this is fueling speculation that he may have the Dolphins on his wish list for 2023 free agency:

“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback was spotted recently touring an elite Miami private school as an option for his kids to his attend, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

Video seen by Page Six shows Brady, dressed in khakis and a blue button down shirt, walking with one of the school’s administrators to take in the facility’s amenities. A security guard tailed the duo from a short distance.”

Brady spent nearly two decades playing against the Dolphins during his tenure with the Patriots. It would be quite the heel turn if he wound up joining one of New England’s archrival teams, but we shouldn’t jump to conclusions just yet.

The Dolphins made the playoffs in 2022 thanks to a breakout season from third-year quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Moving on from a young phenom in favor of a soon-to-be 46-year-old would be a very risky move, to say the least.
