Tom Brady’s recent appearance with a visibly slimmer physique has raised concerns about his health following his divorce. According to ESPN reporter Jeff Darlington, Brady’s mental and physical well-being have suffered amidst the upheavals within the Tampa Bay Buccaneers football team over the past year, evident in his noticeable weight loss.
“The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have faced challenges throughout the season. Brady acknowledges that he hasn’t been able to maintain full mental focus for much of the season as he’s dropped up to 15 pounds (6.8 kg), putting his health at risk,” Darlington stated.
Darlington further shared, “There have been times when Tom has felt like the pain of the season has thwarted his chances of success.”
Representatives for Brady declined to comment on the football star’s current gaunt appearance.
“Tom Brady doesn’t look healthy at all! He’s too skinny, alarmingly so,” remarked one Twitter user on Brady’s scarcely recognizable figure. Some speculate that Brady might have shed more than the reported 6.8 kg, prompting fans to hope for his swift recovery.
Page Six revealed that prior to the weight loss, the former spouse of supermodel Gisele Bundchen weighed 102 kg – a weight deemed ideal by experts for his 1.93 m height.
Over the years, Brady has adhered to a strict training regimen and diet known as the TB12 method. Allen Campbell, Brady’s personal chef, informed The Post that Brady focuses on a diet rich in green vegetables, supplemented with protein from grass-fed animals, legumes, and whole grains. His game-day meals include smoothies, almond butter, and sandwich wraps.
However, stress could be a contributing factor to Brady’s significant weight loss. There have been instances where the player disclosed coping with intense nervous tension while trying to address personal issues.
