The NFL’s most brilliant offensive mind is a debate amongst a few of the coaches in the league. The Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is certainly in that conversation and does not need any help in the playcalling department. The back-to-back Super Bowl champions boast one of the best offenses of all time, but this season, they may get a few plays from an unlikely source.
Patrick Mahomes Reveals Taylor Swift Is ‘Drawing Up Plays’
In a recent podcast, Mahomes revealed that superstar Taylor Swift has taken a real interest in the sport and has even gone as far as drawing up plays for the team.
When Mahomes sat down with NBC Sports’ Chris Simms, he was candid about Swift being much more involved and interested in the game than last season. She has been asking tons of questions about the game and has even gone as far as drawing down plays for the team according to the elite quarterback.
But Mahomes also raised an even greater point about what Swift has been bringing to the football, and that has been some amazing father-daughter-time. Swift has brought football to the attention of many young girls and that has, in turn, brought many daughters and fathers together, including Mahomes himself:
“I think it’s been cool to see the girls and the women that have really embraced watching football,. I know — being a girl dad — how cool it is for me to see these little girls, these daughters and how much they’re loving to spend time with their dad, watching football. And then meeting Taylor, realizing how genuine and cool she is. I think that’s been special to me because she’s, like you said, the most famous person in the world, she could not be [genuine]”

NFL Fans Have Mixed Reactions To New Coach Taylor Swift

Football fans and Swifties rushed to social media to comment on Swift becoming a coach for the team, and the reactions were all over the place. Some fans are loving this bite from Mahomes, while others just poked fun at the possibility of the Chiefs running a Taylor Swift play.
Although if we know anything about coach Reid, it’s that he will get as creative as possible in his playcalling. I would not be shocked at all if we saw a ‘Swiftie Special’ play call from the sidelines.
