The ever-bubbling cauldron of Hollywood with its celeb dalliances and high-profile splits is brimming with yet another shocking report involving Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez. Throughout their rocky relationship, the pair has witnessed quite the highs and lows together, but this might be the end of the road for them as a married couple.

Reports have been whirling around about an imminent divorce heading toward Affleck and Lopez and it seems that they are simply waiting for the right time (more or less) before they pull the plug on their marriage.

Ben Affleck Wants to Be Civil With Jennifer Lopez Amid Divorce Rumors 

Before they finally tied the knot a couple of years ago, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez had already broken off their engagement once circa 2004. Now, the pair is reportedly looking to part ways indefinitely with a potential divorce on the horizon.

An insider spilled the beans to In Touch Weekly, claiming that though the soon-to-be-ex-sweethearts are apparently planning to split, the Justice League star wants to keep the whole affair as “civilized” as his divorce from his first wife, Jennifer Garner.

The last thing Ben wants to do is hurt Jen. He still loves and respects her. And, of course, the family situation comes into this heavily, which is why he’s agreed to do this in a civilized and loving way, just like he did with Jennifer Garner.

Divorce rumors of the couple made headlines back in May when a source divulged that Affleck, 51, and J.Lo, 54, had decided to “call it quits” and the former had already moved out of their house amidst their incessant relationship struggles (via In Touch Weekly).

Ben Affleck Is Tired of Being Treated Like the “Bad Guy”

As per the insider, the Academy Award-winning actor is “far from comfortable” presently but both he and Lopez are looking to avoid anything that could tailspin into a “messy court battle.”

Besides being busy with a lot of his own work, he’s got J. Lo’s mood swings to cope with, phones ringing off the hook, and the press hounding him 24/7. Plus, a lot of people in J. Lo’s world and the public are treating him like the bad guy.

Meanwhile, a separate informant narrated a different side, stating that J.Lo is willing to go above and beyond to salvage her “fairy-tale marriage” with husband number four. “She’s still his wife,” the source said, adding how the Shotgun Wedding star is even attending events of Affleck and Garner’s kids, to show him that she “loves him no matter what.”

That being said though, the couple is yet to officially file for divorce.
