Dallas Wings star Satou Sabally returned from injury on Tuesday as she took the court for Germany in a pre-Olympic exhibition game against Team USA. Sure enough, her comeback was met with positive messages, including one from Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.
Sabally celebrated her return with an Instagram post after the game, writing “I’m Back” along with several photos from the USA-Germany tune-up. Reese, for her part, commented on the post and shared her delight to see the Wings forward play again.
For those unaware, the Sky All-Star went to London to show her support for the USA women’s basketball team. She also plans to watch the Olympics in Paris, which starts on July 26.
“Loved sitting courtside seeing you back out there killing Queen,” Reese wrote.
Satou Sabally suffered a shoulder injury last February while playing for Germany in the Olympic qualifiers. As a result, she has yet to play in the 2024 WNBA season. Fortunately, she was able to recover in time for the Olympics.

Having said that, Angel Reese will have another player to cheer for once the Olympics starts.
