Taylor Swift’s love life has always fascinated fans, with many of her songs hinting at her romantic connections. She is reportedly dating NFL star Travis Kelce, which has led to much speculation about the possibility of marriage. Recently, a new twist has added to the excitement. A photo of Swift’s look-alike, Laura Cadman, who recently celebrated her anniversary, caused a frenzy among Swifties. Many fans were initially confused, mistaking Cadman for Swift herself and speculating that Taylor had secretly married someone else. The buzz was so intense that some even wondered if the images were AI-generated, with a fan comparing the photoshoot to the album cover of Folklore.
The blonde hairstyle, signature red lips and similar facial features led to wedding rumours surrounding Swift. On her X handle, Laura Cadman proudly mentioned that she’s been a “Swiftie since 2007 and a Folklore fan.” In the photos, Cadman is seen wearing a white dress, while her husband sports various outfits in each snapshot. One of the photos even features the couple holding their newborn baby.
Sharing the picture, the woman wrote, “10 years together, 2 years married, 4 white dresses and too many pictures to sum up more than a third of our life together. I love you so much Jack, happy anniversary.” In a separate post, she added, “My phone is literally lagging because of how many notifications I’m getting, thank you for the love on our more special moments. Especially the comments on our beautiful baby and our wedding outfits.”
Reacting to the post, a user wrote, “Taylor Swift happy in an alternate universe.”
Another shared, “This is so folklore coded.”
“I thought someone had an AI Taylor Swift’s wedding photos,” a comment read.
Another wrote, “I’m glad I’m not the only one that completely tripped out on the uncanny resemblance; I think Taylor just found another stunt double.”
An individual shared, “The way my heart stopped.”
One more added, “I definitely thought Taylor got married just then.”
This isn’t the first time Laura Cadman has been mistaken for Taylor Swift. During Swift’s 1989 World Tour in 2015, Cadman attended a concert and was surrounded by Swifties. One fan even asked her for a photo, believing she was Taylor Swift. After realising the mistake, the fan messaged Cadman, expressing frustration and accusing her of misleading people.
