Bam Adebayo steals a picture of a sleeping Kevin Durant (Image credits: @usabasketball/Instagram)
At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Team USA is apparently having a great time, as Bam Adebayo snuck a picture of a dozing Kevin Durant. The roster stars might be NBA competitors, but they share a goal to make their country proud this year. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t have a bit of fun at the other’s expense.
However, a defenseless Durant was caught snoozing by the Miami Heat center on the team bus. There wasn’t any context as to why Adebayo took the photo. Still, that didn’t stop him from capturing and sharing it with the world.

Many are awaiting what Durant will say once he sees the picture on the internet.
Kevin Durant is comfortable with Steve Kerr’s decision to not start him
Team USA has won three straight games, thanks to outstanding play from their key guys, LeBron James, Anthony Edwards and Kevin Durant. Many have questioned why the 6-foot-11 forward hasn’t started a game for the national team in his three appearances, however.
Coach Steve Kerr made the decision after the Phoenix Suns star missed all of Team USA’s exhibition games. The star forward was sidelined for the tune-ups due to a calf issue. But as soon as he was healthy, KD was back on the roster right before the Olympics began.
Kerr emphasized his decision not to put ‘The slim Reaper’ in the starting five.
“If Kevin had been here from Day 1, chances are he’d be starting,” Kerr said. “That was the plan coming in. But given that he missed all of our friendlies and came in late, we had kind of established a lineup that we liked. When we brought him back, he was only going to play a certain amount of minutes against Serbia.”
That choice hasn’t bothered KD a bit. In an Instagram post, he even hinted that he didn’t mind coming off the bench. Bam Adebayo tagged the two-time champion in his comments section.
“Bench mob,” the Heat star commented.
The Suns forward replied with a chair emoji, hinting that he’s embraced his role.
