Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese is receiving a ton of backlash yet again for shooting so poorly while the majority of her shots are within five feet.
It’s not a secret that the Chicago Sky star is having trouble converting around the basket. Angel is shooting terribly on the season despite the bulk of her opportunities coming near the rim.
Reese has shot just 25% from the field in her last two games, going a combined 7 for 28. However, she has grabbed 42 rebounds in the process.
Reese is getting blasted online for shooting a paltry 43.8% on shots within five feet of the basket. A graph also shows that she is the worst finisher in the entire league.

Angel Reese Posts WNBA Record 3rd Straight 20-Rebound Game
Angel Reese may struggle from the field, but she also continues to make history.
The race for WNBA Rookie of the Year is heating up after the Chicago Sky forward star became the first rookie in league history to record at least 20 rebounds in consecutive games.
The former LSU standout and 2023 national champion has had an incredible last few games. She dropped 13 points and 20 rebounds against the Connecticut Sun, which followed her performance against the Phoenix Mercury, where she dropped 19 points and 20 rebounds.
Against the Las Vegas Aces, Angel Reese tallied 12 points and 22 rebounds, per ESPN.
Aside from that record, Reese tied Tina Charles for the most double-doubles by a rookie with her 22nd of the season.
