Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance dates back to the summer of 2023. And eagle-eyed fans paid close attention to the couple over the past year. Kelce and Swift appear on the fast track to engagement, but a source says Kelce might not be ready to get down on one knee. Here’s what’s going on

Fans of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift assume the couple will be together forever. Before dating Kelce, Swift had a multi-year romance with actor Joe Alwyn. But her dynamic with Kelce is different. While Alwyn liked to stay out of the spotlight, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end loves hanging out with Swift in public.

So, what does this mean for their relationship moving forward? Kelce and Swift seem like the perfect match. But a source told Us Weekly that Kelce has no immediate plan to get down on one knee. “Travis has no plans on proposing to Taylor anytime soon,” an insider shared. “It’s not even on his radar. Marriage is something he takes very seriously and not something he would ever just jump into without giving it some careful consideration.

The source added that while Kelce “cares very deeply” for Swift, he’s “just not there yet” regarding marriage.

In January 2024, another source said that Kelce and Swift don’t plan on getting engaged during the summer of 2024. “Travis and Taylor have no plans on getting engaged this summer,” the other source said. “Things between them are going amazing, but they haven’t even been together for a year yet and still have so much to learn about each other.”

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift fans shouldn’t expect the couple to rush down the aisle. However, bookmakers at OLBG suspect Kelce and Swift might pull a fast one and get engaged by September 2024 before the NFL season begins.

“Bookies now offer odds on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s 2024 with one of the most famous couples in the world expected to have a massive year,” entertainment betting expert Jake Ashton said on OLBG.com. “The latest odds now say there’s a 75% chance that they continue to soar and announce their engagement at some point before the NFL season kicks off in September!”
