Tyreek Hill had a shocking encounter with police ahead of the Dolphins’ opener vs. the Jaguars this Sunday, with the star wide receiver being detained and handcuffed for a traffic violation outside the Hard Rock Stadium.

Hill has been released after being cited for reckless driving. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, has since indicated that the WR will play today, though he is distraught.

Rosenhaus appeared on ‘Sunday NFL Countdown’ to discuss the incident ahead of the game, telling Jeff Darlington the whole thing was unnecessary and that Hill’s camp would look into it.

The famous agent worked for his money today as he was shown sweating profusely.

“why is he and the reporter drenched in sweat?!” one fan asked.

“Did he just run to the stadium from the coast? 😂😂,” another joked.

“Why is he so sweaty?” a third asked.

“That man is in full sweat mode!” someone else wrote.

The Dolphins have since made a statement on his detainment.

“This morning, WR Tyreek Hill was pulled over for a traffic incident about one block from the stadium and briefly detained by police,” they wrote in a tweet. “He has since been released. Several teammates saw the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived to the stadium and will be available for today’s game.”

Kickoff between the Dolphins and the Jaguars is scheduled for 1:00 PM ET.
