NHL fans are torn on whether or not Milan Lucic will play another game in the NHL. Lucic is a free agent and hasn’t received much interest after his arrest last season

The forward allegedly pulled his wife’s hair and attempted to choke her, but in February the charges were dropped.Despite the charges being dropped, Lucic has yet to sign with an NHL team. Fans aren’t sure if he will do so.

“He was one of my favorite bruins ever. Once you hit your wife, you’re a piece of shit. No coming back from it,” another fan wrote.
Dudes career was over before last year,” a fan added.
“Countdown until he re-signs with the Oilers…,” a fan wrote.
Many fans believe Lucic no longer belonged in the NHL due to his play last season.
“He stunk as a player, he has below average hands, slow as syrup as a skater, and for being a good fighter he didn’t fight nearly enough. Off the ice troubles… buh bye,” a fan added.
“17 missed calls from Stan Bowman,” a fan wrote.
Although many fans joked that Lucic would go back to Edmonton after their recent hiring of Stan Bowman as their GM, Lucic is unlikely to play another game in the NHL.
