Ben Affleck’s ‘Neediness’ on Jennifer Garner Has Allegedly Made Her Consider a Huge Compromise

While Jennifer Garner and her boyfriend, John Miller, squashed the breakup rumors, that doesn’t mean everything is peachy keen at home. Both insiders and close sources recently claimed that things aren’t so simple in Garner’s world right now, especially when it comes to Miller and her ex-husband, Ben Affleck.

An insider first spoke with Life and Style Magazine, saying that Affleck has been coming in and out of Garner’s multi-million dollar home at all hours of the day, despite Miller’s feelings about it, and the outlet even noted his “neediness” in their report.

“John has shown incredible patience and that he’s really endeared him to Jennifer,” the insider said. “Privately, he has been known to find it a little bit intimidating that she’s still so close to Ben. But he doesn’t dwell on it, he understands she had a past before him and that there is still a place for Ben in her life.”

And now, since Affleck reportedly has a key to Garner’s place, it’s affected everything. Instead of planning a move-in for Miller and Garner, insiders allege that Garner may be thinking of letting Affleck move in for some time.

“[Ben’s] got a key to come and go as he pleases, and he’s been spending a ton of time at [Jennifer Garner’s] place, coming over for dinners and hanging with the kids,” a source said to the outlet. “It’s great for his state of mind and the kids love having him around, [and this is] why Jen’s open to the idea of having him move back in.”

So, she may have to make a major compromise to help her ex, and make their kids happy; but Miller may not be pleased at all about it. It’s all up in the air right now, but insiders also alleged that Miller is quite upset about not only this development, but that Garner may be in Affleck’s new movie, Animal.

“He’s very clear he’s not looking to force Ben out of Jen’s life, but the 24/7 nature of their relationship is just becoming way too much,” the source added. “Whenever they’re together, Ben’s blowing her up with random questions. And now they’re doing this movie together, it’s really got him questioning where he stands.”

For those who don’t know, the Alias alum and Miller started dating in early 2018 on a casual basis, but it wasn’t announced until after Garner and her ex-husband Ben Affleck were working on finalizing their divorce. Garner and Miller dated until early 2020 after a rumored rift made them separate for a brief period of time.

However, they officially reignited their relationship a year later, in April 2021.

While their relationship is quite private, they’re incredibly supportive of one another. An insider even told Us Weekly that the duo is in “a great place” after their on-again, off-again relationship stint. “They used to go out of their way to keep a low profile, but they’ve both become very secure with their relationship and how it’s all worked out.”

As for Affleck and Garner, they met in 2000 while filming Pearl Harbour, while Affleck was engaged to Lopez and Garner was married to Scott Foley. Their romantic relationship didn’t begin until 2004, when they were both single and working together on Daredevil.

They married in Turks and Caicos in June 2005, and later welcomed three children: Violet Anne Affleck, was born on Dec. 1, 2005, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, on Jan. 6, 2009, and Samuel Garner Affleck, on Feb. 27, 2012.

The couple officially filed for divorce in 2017, and in 2018, they finalized their divorce.
